Solving Problems with a Government Agency
My office has always gone the extra mile to help Massachusetts residents resolve problems they are having with a Federal government agency. This help often takes the form of helping to expedite bureaucratic processes and bringing attention to individual cases that may have fallen through the cracks.

If you are a constituent and are having trouble with a government agency, please contact my Boston office. In order for us to help you quickly and efficiently please write us a letter containing a concise explanation of the situation, and attach copies of all relevant information pertaining to the case, including case numbers, file numbers, and Social Security numbers.

All letters should be addressed to U.S. Senator John Kerry. Letters to my office also must include the following paragraph to allow us to pursue your case on your behalf:

All letters except those dealing with the military or the Internal Revenue Service. In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, you and your staff are hereby authorized to freely discuss any and all aspects of my situation.
  Letters dealing with the military.
I hereby authorize U.S. Senator John Kerry to act on my behalf and hereby waive my rights under the Privacy Act of 1974 on the following situation.
Letters dealing with the Internal Revenue Service.
In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and specifically Section 6103 of the IRS Code, you and your staff are authorized to freely discuss any and all aspects of my situation with the Internal Revenue Service.

For more information, call, write, or e-mail Mr. Roy Martin in Senator Kerry's Boston office.
